Wednesday Programming

Pre-K Kiddos

Children's programming for a variety of ages takes place on Wednesday evenings.

Children are at the heart of our congregation, and we have programs and activities that reflect our commitment to teaching the love of Christ to children in the Vinton community.

Pre-K Kiddos

Pre-K kiddos are welcome to join in Wednesday night activities in the form of nursery care from 5-5:30 and after dinner until 7:30.

Our nursery care, overseen by members of our high school youth group, has age-appropriate games and activities to play in a safe environment.

While parents and older sibling are in activities, bible studies, and meetings, little ones can have fun together.

Kinder to 5th Grade

Elementary age students have programming beginning after school.  Children in this age group may ride the school bus to the local library and then walk one block to the church building.

After school Wednesday programming for elementary-aged children includes:  snack, games, songs, bible study, and learning fun.

At 5:30, children are invited to eat a family-style meal in the Fellowship Hall.  Following the meal, children may go to a music program if they are involved in one, or stay in the Fellowship Hall to watch a movie, play a board game, or do homework.

Middle School

Middle School age students have programming beginning at mealtime at 5:30.

Students this age are invited to eat a family-style meal, then go to a music program (youth bells, choir), or they may stay in Fellowship Hall for a movie, board game, or homework time.  Occasionally, middle school students will also have their youth group meetings during this time.

For Middle School youth who enjoy helping with younger children, they are invited to help with early elementary programming.
