About Us

The Presbyterian Church of Vinton is a family of believers sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, by serving God and serving others.

Begun June 27, 1852, the Vinton Presbyterian Church has a long heritage of serving the community of Vinton, IA through mission and outreach. It is a Presbyterian Church (USA) congregation with a variety of programs and groups for all ages. Worship is held each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. It is a member church of the Presbytery of East Iowa.

The Presbyterian Church of Vinton is a welcoming congregation with a variety of individuals from all walks of life who participate in the life and worship of the congregation. Members and friends of the congregation work together to provide programming in these areas: Chrsitain Education, Worship and Music, Outreach, Evangelism and Mission programs, and more.
