Adult Choir
 
     
The adult vocal choir, led by Angie Holmes, performs twice per month during the school year.  Practice is currently held each week on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.  The choir also performs during special services and religious holidays including Christmas Eve and Easter.
      All levels of skill are welcome and encouraged to join and participate.  

Hand Bell Choir
 
      The hand bell choir, led by Allison Hicks, performs once per month during the school year Oct-May except January.  Practice is currently held each week on Monday evenings at 6 p.m.  Participants play both regular hand bells as well as chimes.  
      In 2015 and 2016, the hand bell choir hosted a spring hand bell concert open to the community.
      All levels of skill are welcome and encouraged to join and participate.  

Children's Choir
 
      The children's choir, led by Kelly Henkle, is open to all children from preschool age up to 6th grade.  Children practice Sunday mornings each week before going to Sunday school - from 9:00-9:20 a.m - during the school year.
      Children perform in worship on the fourth Sunday of each month unless there is a conflicting holiday event.
      Additionally, there is an opportunity for children to sing in small groups throughout the year and children sign as well as perform during the children's Christmas pageant every December.

Easter Choir

      Ever want to sing with the adult choir for just a season?  The adult choir is practicing now for Easter and welcomes you join for just the next few weeks if you would like. 
     For adults and youth from 8th grade on up.

Special Music

Beyond regularly programmed music, we also welcome and encourage special music events.  This ranges from solos, duets, and quartets to special piano arrangements, organ arrangements, guitar music, and more.

      Each year, we strive to have special music Sundays.  Early June you will find a "Camp Song Sunday" and September often brings a "Secular Music Sunday."  In October, the congregation is asked to help pick hymns by submitting some of their favorite selections.

Youth
Hand Bell Choir


      The youth hand bell choir, led by Marjorie Thirkettle and Kathy Blank, is a relatively new program and ministry at the Presbyterian Church of Vinton.  This program is open to all children and youth in the congregation.  
      Practice is held Mondays from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Performances in worship happen throughout the year, typically on the first Sunday of each month.  Currently, the youth hand bell choir seeking teens or adults to play larger hand bells.
